ADMINISTRATION MINISTRIES COORDINATOR

​Mt Maunganui Baptist Church
Part-Time (10 hours per week)

Mount Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Administration Ministry Coordinator (10 hours per week) to join our team! This important role is key to ensuring the effective administration and operational support of the church. The successful candidate will manage reception duties, coordinate volunteer schedules, handle basic bookkeeping, oversee church facilities, and provide administrative assistance to various ministries.

 

There is also exciting potential for this role to expand in the future, with the possibility of increasing hours as the church's ministry needs grow.

Key Responsibilities:

 Greet visitors, answer calls, and manage reception operations
 Coordinate volunteer schedules for various ministries and events
 Perform basic bookkeeping duties using Xero, including invoicing and
expense tracking
 Oversee facility bookings, maintenance, and ensure compliance with health
and safety regulations
 Collaborate with ministry leaders to ensure the church meets operational and
legal compliance standards

 

Skills & Qualifications:

 Strong organisational and communication skills
 Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs) and Xero
 Previous administrative or office management experience is a plus
 A heart for serving and supporting church ministries

Hours: 10 hours per week (with potential for hours to increase as the ministry grows)
